Sayna Ghaderi, an Iranian photographer, embarked on her photographic journey in 2010, specializing in theateer photography since 2012
Throughout her career, Sayna has served as the official photographer for over 100 theater projects, earning recognition and awards, including those from the Fajr Festival. Since 2017, she has been the official photographer for the FLIPT Festival in Rome, contributing her unique perspective to this esteemed international event. During her time at the FLIPT Festival, Sayna had the opportunity to collaborate with distinguished professors such as Pino Dibuduo and Eugenio Barba.
Sayna’s photographs transcend mere documentation, delving into the realm of fine art. With an aesthetic look and a deep attention to visual aesthetics, her photos can be classified within the fine art category. This unique artistic perspective adds a layer of beauty and sophistication to her work.
Venturing beyond the confines of theater, Sayna has also explored still photography for movies and commercial projects, showcasing adaptability and creativity across various areas.
Armed with a degree in Photojournalism from the News College of Tehran, Sayna possesses a solid educational foundation supporting her practical experience.
Aside from her role as a photographer, Sayna has shared her passion and knowledge by teaching photography. Her teaching experiences have provided valuable insights into the medium and inspired aspiring photographers to explore the world through their lenses.
Noteworthy among her collaborations is the project “Invisible Cities,” where Sayna’s unique vision contributed to a book authored by Kyle Gillette, a professor at Trinity University, published by Routledge.
